CELOTEH DINI HARI

Nampaknya tak dapatlah nak santai mata,  nak ganti dengan santai telinga pun, begitu tak menarik sekali,  karna kat sini berkonsepkan fund-fair.  So bisingnya bukan kepalang.

Kemudian, dikacau sehingga sebati selama beberapa jam.

Begitulah serba ringkas cara membuat bubur Asyura.  Ia boleh dimakan dalam dua keadaan;

Ketika panas  dan

 dibekukan menjadi seperti kek.

Imej di atas berbentuk kek iaitu setelah bubur Asyura dibiarkan sejuk.

BERAPAKAH HARGA REDHA?

Saat sakit
Menyapa diri,
Soalan
Demi
Soalan
Menerjah fikiran,

Bila jawaban
Tak ketemu,
Baru Alhamdulillah
Bertenggek
Di bibir,

Ah,
Mahalnya
Harga
Sebuah redha,
Tak terbeli

WANT TO STAVE OFF CANSER?

Change lifestyle, beat cancer - The Times of India
The Times of IndiaThe Times of India

LONDON: Want to stave off cancer? Just a few simple lifestyle changes would do,
a research has claimed. In fact, the research, published in the 'British Journal of Cancer', found smoking is the biggest lifestyle contributor to one's risk of developing cancer. Apart from lung cancer, it has also been linked to causing bladder, kidney, pancreatic and cervical cancer.

One in 25 cancers is linked to a person's job, such as being exposed to chemicals or asbestos, while one in 33 is linked to infections, such as the human papillomavirus (HPV), which causes most cases of cervical cancer. However, the study showed that overall, 34% of cancers in 2010 (106,845) in Britain were linked to smoking, diet, drinking alcohol and excess weight.

In men, 6.1% (9,600) of cancer cases were linked to a lack of fruit and vegetables, 4.9% (7,800) to occupation, 4.6% (7,300) to alcohol, 4.1% (6,500) to overweight and obesity and 3.5% (5,500) to excessive sun exposure and sunbeds.

In women, 6.9% (10,800) were linked to overweight and obesity, 3.7% (5,800) to infections such as HPV, 3.6% (5,600) to excessive sun exposure and sunbeds, 3.4% (5,300) to lack of fruit and vegetables and 3.3% (5,100) to alcohol, the 'DailyExpress' reported.

The full list of 14 risk factors are - tobacco, lack of fruit and vegetables,
being overweight or obese, alcohol, excessive sun exposure and sunbeds,
occupation, infections, radiation, lack of physical exercise, lack of breast
feeding, hormones, red meat, lack of fibre and too much salt.

Drinking alcohol is linked to a range of cancers, including breast cancer, liver cancer and cancer of the oesophagus. Nine per cent of lung cancers were also linked to a lack of fruit consumption, the study showed.

Professor Max Parkin, a Cancer Research UK epidemiologist based at University of London, and study author, said: "Many people believe cancer is down to fate or 'in the genes' and that it is the luck of the draw whether they get it. Looking at all the evidence, it's clear that around 40% of all cancers are caused by things we mostly have the power to change."

EARWAX

What's Earwax?

ListenIt's sticky. It's shiny. But what is earwax, anyway — and where does it come from?

Earwax is made in the outer ear canal. This is the area between the fleshy part
of the ear on the outside of your head (the part you can see) and the middle ear. The skin in the outer ear canal has special glands that produce earwax. The fancy name for this waxy stuff is cerumen (say: suh-roo-mun).

After the wax is produced, it slowly makes its way through the outer ear canal to the opening of the ear. Then it either falls out or is removed when you wash.

In most people, the outer ear canal makes earwax all the time, so the canal always has enough wax in it.

So why do we need wax? Earwax has several important jobs. First, it protects and moisturizes the skin of ear canal, preventing dry, itchy ears.

Second, it contains special chemicals that fight off infections that could hurt the skin inside the ear canal.

Finally, it acts as a shield between the outside world and the eardrum. When dust, dirt, and other things enter your ear, the earwax traps them so they can't travel any further.

If you want to get rid of earwax, here's what you need to do: nothing! Most kids don't need to do anything special to remove earwax. If you wash your hair regularly, this is enough to keep your ears clean.

You can wipe the outside of your ear with a washcloth but don't use a cotton swab, your finger, or anything else to poke around inside your ear to remove earwax. Your ear canal and eardrum are very delicate, and you may hurt them or cause bleeding by trying to get rid of wax this way.

Poking around in your ear can also push and pack the wax in further.

In some kids, one or both ear canals make extra earwax. If this sounds like you, tell an adult. Doctors often can prescribe special medicines that are placed in the ear to get rid of extra wax.
